  • Airport Transfers
    Transfers on arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport will operate at 09.30, 12.30 and 15.30. Passengers arriving later should make their own way to the first hotel. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 07.00 and 09.30.
  • Free transfers to and from London's airports direct to central London
  • A Trafalgar bonus transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and your London hotel. When you book your Trafalgar tour your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London. Your transfer will be via an express train link from London Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station on the Heathrow Rail Express, and from London Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station on the Gatwick Rail Express.
  • Gatwick Express takes 30 minutes and Heathrow Express takes only 15 minutes compared to the one hour plus journey by coach! From Paddington or Victoria it's a short and inexpensive journey by taxi to your London hotel.
  • Airport/Central London Railway Station/Airport: To qualify for your Free Airport Transfer just book your round trip flights on one of Trafalgar's recommended Airlines, stay in one of Trafalgar's London Hotels (booked through Trafalgar) on the day of arrival and the night prior to departure. On departing London, take a taxi to Paddington or Victoria Station, for your FREE transfer to the Airport. Please see below for transfer conditions.
  • Important - Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
  • You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
  • Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
  • Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
  • Heathrow Express operates between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
  • In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
  • No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.

  • London Tour Departure: All tours depart from Trafalgar's London Tour Departure Centre in Victoria. However, if you stay at the London hotel featured on your tour itinerary page, you will be picked up and dropped off there at the beginning and end of your tour. If your tour does not depart from London, please see your itinerary for full details.

  • With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified on the itinerary pages. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.

    : A full day excursion to the Isle of Capri. First across azure waters in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius to Marina Grande. Then by funicular we ascend to Capri town. Free time to visit Anacapri or to lie on the beach at Marina Piccola before heading back to Sorrento. (Buffet breakfast)

    : This morning maybe visit Pompeii - the town 'petrified' by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79. Then we travel north to Tuscany, and the city of Florence. Tonight, if you want to go out to one of the city's popular clubs we'll lay on the coach to take you back to your hotel. (Buffet breakfast)

    Day 8Florence - Pisa - Portofino - MilanFlorence - Pisa - Portofino - Milan
    : Today towards the coast to Pisa to see its Leaning Tower. Then we travel via the Italian Riviera to Portofino - an international resort. Visit one of the smart cafes before continuing to Milan - Italy's
    fashion capital. Here an orientation shows us the enormous gothic Cathedral and the 'Galleria' - busy with crowds of window-shoppers and smart suited Italians gulping espressos in the elegant cafes. (Buffet breakfast)

    : We head east for Verona. Here we admire the Roman Arena and Juliet's balcony before continuing on to the unique city of Venice. Tonight, we'll enjoy dinner in a restaurant near the Grand Canal. Later, why not enjoy an evening gondola serenade? (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

    : Our included cruise by private launch shows us the Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and of course, St. Mark's Square with its Byzantine Basilica. We'll also witness a demonstration of traditional Murano glass-blowing before time on your own to do as you please. Maybe take a cruise to see some of the other 2,000 or so islands. (Buffet breakfast)
    Day 11Venice - Assisi - RomeVenice - Assisi - Rome
    : Along the Venetian Plain and into the Apennines and Umbria to Assisi, atop Mount Subasio. Time to visit St. Francis' Basilica with its delightful Giotto frescoes and to climb the hill to Piazza del Comune with its Roman Temple and its many boutiques and cafes before we return to Rome for our final night. Don't forget to throw a coin or three in the Trevi Fountain to ensure a safe return to the 'Eternal City' one day! (Buffet breakfast)
